Forestry & Farm Brush Control

Forestry mulching, as a land clearing method, is preferred over traditional land clearing methods for any reasons including the following points:

• Elimination of unwanted vegetation by turning it into a fine layer of environmentally friendly mulch that returns the nutrients to the soil
• Superior erosion control when compared to traditional clearing methods, and again, the nutrients are reintroduced right back into the soil.
• Nothing left to ‘haul off.” The material is disappeared where it stands.
• Less disruptive than traditional clearing methods: 

1. the land is not left scarred or burned
2. “keeper” trees suffer less damage than when dozers come through
3. “feeder” roots are better protected

• Much better use of time than using a chainsaw or a tractor with a brush cutter.
• Much more cost-effective and less damaging to the soil than a bulldozer, loader, and hauler.
• Mulch is visually pleasing and protective as a ground cover.
• The one-machine / one-operator method takes all stumps, stems and brush down to ground level leaving a ground cover that can be immediately driven over, mowed, or seeded.
